Agree with all of the above. A's money and taking it seriously are all musts. Also get experience whether it be as volunteer or as a tech. And if you can get a variety of experiece, that looks great on an application! If you have experienced an HMO, hospital, chain, independent and maybe even mail order it shows you are truely interested and passionate about your pursuit.
Also I would say if you haven't done so already start researching schools and know what schools you want to apply to and what they require beyond academics that could give you a little boost.
Stay with it and work your ass off and you will get there!
