Hey all, young attending here in a hospital system and very rapidly growing practice. I am also trying to establish standards of care for the entire system and getting PCPs, surgeons, etc on board. What specific journals do you all feel are the best? I current get pain practitioner and pain medicine, but I have been reading some JAMA recently and they also seem to have some very good articles as well. your thoughts"

JAMA/NEJM are useless and biased to point of laughable.
Stick with Spine, The Spine Journal, Pain Medicine.
I like the Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management journal a lot (RAPM) too

Similar question ... wat about the best conferences for pain? Looked at the asipp lineup this year and a little underwhelmed

i was invited to attend WVSIPP (west virginia) conference in miami (i know.. who wants to hold a conference in WV.. ) anyways I was told that many people actually like attending this one over the ASIPP..

Bumping this thread with a related question: Best pain journals for neuromodulation? (i.e. Neuromodulation, etc)

If you’re excited to get Abbott crap shoved down your throat for a weekend, sure attend that one.

That conference is not biased to any company.

There is representation from many companies and even future companies.

I enjoy this one but I would say check it out and if you don’t like it then that’s fine too.
