Does anybody have information on externships? Are there any good externship locations in the DC metropolitan area? How many hours are you supposed to work?

I actually just found out yesterday what externships are, but I have no information on any in the DC area or hours. They are just a way to get more clinical experience while in your graduate program and before applying to an internship.

Whenever I've seen that word it has usually been in the context of school psychology programs. Is that what you're in? And basically, the externship is just like an internship in clinical/counseling psych programs.
