What are Foreign Dentist Doing while waiting to get in to a dental school??

Hi All,

Just curious, what are you foreign trained dentists doing, while waiting for a reply from a dental school?
I mean other than studies, are any of you working if so where?

Are you working in the dental field by chance?

I came back to my country to work as a dentist. That's what I'm doing.

It is quite a hard time, to tell you the truth. It's tough to be applying to all schools and it costs so much money. It's great if you have a spouse that can support you, or else, you have to find a job...as a dental assistant, or anything else to make ends meet.

But pretty much, you are so preoccupied with dental school application and admission that time flies by.
