Hopkins app's instructs not to make hard-returns. Does anyone know what they are?

I think it means when you press enter to skip a line. I'm not sure what they are talking about though, since there don't really seem to be any problems with inputting text.

Perhaps hard returns are not formatted in the final application, and they don't want you to rely on them for organization. Who knows.

Hard Returns are a throwback from the typewriter era. It's basically when you press the Enter button to get to the next line instead of letting the program do it for you.
