Your GPA, EC's, and collective MCAT score are superb if you're applying DO, however your verbal score is of concern.

Getting into a DO program shouldn't be a challenge, but getting accepted to a "higher ranked" institution might be. Are you a US citizen?

just making sure, we are talking about higher ranked D.O. school right? also, what are other things that I can do to improve myself as an applicant? Disregard the 6 in verbal, retaking the MCAT will be my absolute last resort @@" Thank you!

More hours of ECs I guess. Truthfully the only thing holding you back is the 6 in VR. You almost scored the average DO MCAT score in two sections (PS + BS). If your distribution was a little better you'd be golden.

This.

Everything looks fantastic, your MCAT score as a whole is definitely above average, but when you break it down by sections the verbal score really sticks out like a sore thumb, your writing score isn't too great either but it makes sense since I'm assuming English wasn't your first language. Great job on the PS/BS sections though.

Also, I think your EC's are fine. Your CV is well above average, shadowing is spot on. More publications definitely wouldn't hurt, but that's just icing on the cake at this point.
