remove pacific northwest , ohio uni, university of new england and rowan because they heavily select for instate. some of these schools require a do letter, look up their admissions sites for more info. I feel like you will receive interview invites from several schools.

Awesome I was wondering which ones prefer in state...I hope you're right but just in case im applying to pharmacy school too. Im trying to get a DO letter but idk if thats gunna happen 🙁 I have a letter from a science and non science professor and one from the place i voluteer so im hoping that'll help me out...

also the do cycle is longer so you're not too late, just submit your secondaries asap. try your best to secure a do letter but if not, don't worry about it. most do schools don't require a do letter.

dude and you're welcome. I would also suggest removing michigan state. I'll be honest with you, some DO schools will waitlist/reject you but that's okay. I do feel that if you apply to enough new DO schools, you will receive interview invites. Your list looks good for the most part, just make sure you apply to new schools like marian, liberty, and rocky vista. however you have a chance with some of the more established DO schools. Stay positive and submit atleast 10 DO secondaries.

also @Goro is the resident DO expert, he will be able to further help you and will correct me if I made a mistake. Just stay positive, apply broadly and apply now, and I feel that you will receive an acceptance. I wish you the best in life.

you know, you would be surprised, if you were a new mexico or west virginia resident, there's a good chance that someone with your stats would have received an interview invite from your state MD school. Sometimes state MD schools accept instate applicants that would have been rejected by some DO schools!

I KNOW ITS SO FRUSTRATING!!! California is spoiled by the UC System and schools like USC and Loma Linda so they dont give in state priority believe it or not. only UCR does but their school is literally 50 people and they accept 25 of them from UCR undergrad haha

Let's call upon @Goro the guru of medical school admissions! Best of luck OP.

IDK about the process much but maybe you could try to take the MCAT one more time?

The only open MCATs in my area for this year are in a week (not happening) or if i fly somewhere to take it (not happening either due to money concerns) so im going to try to work thru this. Goro responded to my personal message and told me my chances of getting interview invites are very good with these numbers so im not tripping...yet hahah

@Jmust171 You list is too top heavy... You should add a couple of low schools. I suggest PCOM-GA, LMU-COM, ACOM etc..
