Hello all, I am wondering of my chances of getting accepted to a PT program. I have one interview so far. Below are my stats. Thank you very much.

PT Prerequisite GPA: 3.89
Overall GPA: 3.85
Observation: 430 outpatient
21 inpatient
Extracurricular: Professional Banjo Player

Hello! I think your GPA's are high and look very good. How are your GRE scores? You also have a lot of observation hours!

Good stats, assuming average GRE score you would be a very good candidate on paper (note: alot of schools are starting to care less and less about observation hours and is a small portion of their formula). With good interview scores i would feel confident saying you will be accepted along the way assuming you applied early enough. I tell everyone to apply the first week PTCAS is available bc with a lot of programs now, applying in october and November is too late as they probably have the majority of their class filled up if they do rolling admissions.

If your GRE is >300, those stats aren't good, they're damn good.

Thanks. The only disappointment I have is that my total GRE is a 292. It does exceed the minimum requirement, but I wish it was higher. However, I am hoping that my GPA will help offset the GRE score. It makes me so anxious! The interview is in a couple of weeks. I am hoping everything goes well.
