Applying to: Georgia Southern, UNE, USAHS(Austin), NAU (my reach school), Tufts(Boston and Arizona), North Central College, Hunter College
Degree: Public Health Clinical Health Sciences - Pre-Physical Therapy
cGPA: 3.43
pGPA: 3.3
post-baccGPA: 4.0
Observation hours: 2200 in outpatient high level sports clinic, 16 in neuro clinic, 5 in specialty ALS clinic (trying to get some inpatient/peds rn too)
LOR: 3 PTs, 1 OT/Supervisor, 1 Chemistry Professor (I have an awesome relationship with the PTs I work with/my supervisor)
GRE: 155V, 148Q, 3.5AW (I didn't prepare at all the first time - I am re-taking it this weekend so wish me luck!)
Experiences/Extracurriculars: Worked at a COVID-19 Testing site on and off for 6 months during the pandemic, 30 hours volunteering @ special Olympics and a couple other local organizations working with homeless, Deans list for 3 terms, Student athlete academic award, member of the student athlete leadership committee, Supervisor at a previous job, worked as a PT Aide for 1.5 years, about to start a new job as admin staff at a children's hospital dealing with disabilities etc.

Things to note: I have had a super chaotic academic career! I worked an array of jobs my entire way through school which also playing soccer for the first two years. During my academic career I have attended/taken classes at 4 different schools just due to extenuating circumstances. One of the schools announced they were shutting down for good at the end of the term only one month before COVID hit/everything shut down which forced me to transfer again. I worked full time and went to school full time and have had to pay for my own schooling and I struggled to keep up academically the last couple years due to working so much (hence the lower GPA.) I am super excited to apply, I am very clear that this is what I am supposed to be doing even if the loan to income ROI isn't great 🙂 If you have advice for the essays/how to bolster my application let me know. This is my first time applying and I am just trying to get a gauge of how likely I am to get in. I feel like overall I am okay but my stats are on the lower end and my last 40-60 credits were probably my lowest grade wise, which is why I am feeling nervous!

It looks like you meet minimal requirements, except not sure about the 148 on the GRE, I think most schools require 150? Hopefully you score higher again, and you can also focus on schools that don't care about GREs, idk if the ones you are applying to require it. I would check though - if you don't meet minimal requirements, their system will just filter you out and reject you - it won't be viewed holistically by a human being.

I don't know anything about the schools you're applying to. You can look at their average accepted stats and see if you fit in. If you apply to competitive schools you may not have a chance if they're seeing tons of applicants with 4.0 GPAs.

I don't think you need any more bolstering. You have plenty of shadow hours and extra things. Good luck!
