I have 4 f's and 3 d's on my transcript and this all happened in 2 semesters, following each other. I was going through an extremely hard time and thus could not concentrate in school at all. Right now im trying to raise my gpa by retaking classes and even going for a masters in either genetics or biology. What are my chances of getting into dental school? I also have 2 letters of recommendation from local dentists for shadowing and they have said excellent things about me.

I think its a good thing you're headed for a masters. I'm in the process of prepping for one as well. BTW how did you do on the DAT?
