So.. how hard is it to get into a 6-year omfs residency with a CBSE score of 68?
I graduated in 2016 in the top 10% of my class. GPA was something like 3.85. No significant extracurricular activities or research experience. I've been in private practice since then, but that is coming to an end this summer because I got into an omfs internship at a reputable program. Supposedly, all of their interns who applied have matched over the past 5 years.
I'm retaking the CBSE this August just to give it a second attempt, but I kinda doubt that I'd be able to score higher than a 70 since I will be so busy as an intern.
With all these into consideration, what are my chances of getting into a 6-year residency?
