what are my chances of getting NYC rads?

I am a slightly above average student from a middle tier school with Step I score of 222. I am also in a dual degree (MD/MPH) program if it helps any. No rads publications or research thus far. What are my chances of getting into ANY Manhattan/NYC programs? Also, is CA tougher than NY?

I would appreciate any input. Especially from those who've matched into programs in manhattan. Thanks.

Its easier if you have ties to NYC. That said, remember there are multiple tiers of programs in manhattan. If your goal is just to match in manhattan w/o regard to program quality, you have a great shot at the crappy ones like Harlem Hospital, St Vincents, Lennox Hill, St. Lukes, etc.
