CA student, 513, 3.98, three years as a critical care RN, no formal research (but have applied research at the bedside extensively).
Interviews went well in my opinion. Spent the time talking about running, past as a competitive swimmer, leadership roles in my current career.

Anyone have any insight? I'm fortunate to have been accepted at a UC school (which I realize is an accomplishment, only 15% stay in state according to AAMC). Mayo is competitive, but like flip a coin odds? Or worse?

If they do, not worth their position to post it publicly for an internet stranger.

Literally no one knows the answer to this for Mayo AZ. The dean of Mayo does not know.

In past years, they have sent around 80 acceptances for a final class of 50 students, so maybe ~30 came off the wait list. However, that is the MN campus (obviously). Maybe they will need to go to the waitlist more for AZ this year because its new and people will go to other reputable schools instead. Maybe they will use the waitlist less because people are excited by the brand new facility and because Scottsdale/Phoenix is a much more interesting area than Rochester, MN.

Anyone who says they know what will happen is straight up lying.
