So I'll be taking my mcat on May 22nd (I have been well on practice exams.) I graduated college with a 3.08 overall and a 3.4 science gpa. I didn't too well my first and second year ( i had no clue what to do with my life), but I have a greatly improved upward trend with mostly A's and B's. I volunteer at two different clinics, I worked as a lifeguard and I am now working as a scribe. I have prior research experience, and this summer I will doing an externship for Nv school of medicine. I was planning on asking for a LOR from the director who is an MD and the Dean of my school who is also involved. They do not know me that well so I was thinking of holding off until early august when the externship ends. What are your opinions?
