What are my chances please let me know ????

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Numbers look fine; but without an MCAT I can't truely assess your chances. At my school (somewhere west of St Louis), your packet so far would look very good. You might want to expand your horizons beyond the Bay Area. Thought about Western/COMP, for example?

Thanks for reading! 🙂

Thanks for reading. I added in my MCAT score, 31.

😀 Thank you. What school are you associated with? I am interested. Im currently working on my school list and trying to expand beyond CA schools.

Im considering

LECOM
New England College of Oste Med
Tulane

Do you have any other suggestions? Any comments are useful.

Cheers

Other than no mention of physician shadowing, your ECs look terrific. I'd consider you a near shoo-in for DO schools. For California MD schools, it's more difficult to predict with certainty any applicants chance, even with an MCAT of 40, as there are so many highly qualified applicants for far too few seats. Applying more broadly is a must. Past applicants with a 3.7/31 had a 71% chance of acceptance.

Thank you for all the information. A quick question regarding my chances, how old can my coursework be for the prereq to be considered. I took a lot of my chemistry six years ago, but I have been a student since continually. Im in graduate school now, so not sure how that factors in?

Thanks

Most schools don't expire coursework, but most do like to see that you've engaged in academic work of some type in the last few years.

A few schools that do expire classes are (I'm sure there may be others):
Temple
Drexel
NYU
Columbia
Cornell
Einstein
Duke
Jefferson
