Hello. So right now, I am a last-semester senior. I was premed the first two years of college then switched to Health Administration and Policy (Public Health) after a few poor science grades. I have taken Gen Chem I(C/B), Gen Chem II (B) + Lab (B), Org Chem I(D) and Bio I (C). With this record, I just barely qualify as a "Career Changer" although I know it depends on the school. My cGPA is 3.36 (should be a 3.5 by the end of the semester) and sGPA is 2.59.

Based on these stats, what formal post bacc programs should do I have a decent shot at acceptance? Also, if you have any other advice to offer, I'd appreciate it!

Take upper level science courses at your local state school. You don't need a formal program to do this. I think you'll probably also need to retake Orgo 1. Since you haven't taken many science classes, you have the potential to improve your sGPA significantly.

Is there such a thing as taking too many advanced level courses when doing a DIY post bacc?

Not that I know of. How many did you have in mind?
Like two or three advanced level courses after fulfilling your prereqs.

Also, would it be advisable to do a formal postbacc or SMP after the DIY postbacc? Or is the DIY enough?
