What are my chances with 85

I am Prashant Nanda presently a 3rd yr dental student in India ( appearing for my 3rd prof exams end of this month)........ i appeared for the NBDE part 1 in July this year and scored 85......... im not sure if i can afford to take this exam again but i am planning on taking the part 2 during my internship.......... i wanted to know realistically speaking what are my chances of getting into a dental school in the US............. please just dont view and move on if u have any advice give it......... i need all the ideas and help i can get ...... thank you
 
hi prashant sorry i don't have a clear cut reply to your question though i think u do have a very good chance with 85,i have a question-i want to appear for NDBE part I and would like to know how much time is required to prepare for the exam and also what material did u use to prepare

Don't be so desprate, man, you still got some school bach home.
I would retake part 1, with 85 you have no chance.

dont worry, there are schools which consider many other things in your application.
see you still have lot of time, i am sure you wont attend college here till you graduate there, so that leaves you with time to improve your GPA make sure its as close as possible to 4, get good experience by working as dental assitant in internship, try to attend seminars and even try to present some seminars and make sure you get the certificates for those, top in some subject or in your college, believe it or not every minute of hard work you put into your college there will fetch you good results...

all these sound very idealistic but its definetely possible.
you still have time right now just relax and concentrate on your grades in your college,
by the time you come to internship, trust me you will know what to do.
ALL THE BEST.

Thanx a lot........ that was very encouraging and I sure will do my best. Just wanted to know if ur already enrolled in any university...... if so which one and wht were ur stats.
