Hi everyone!
I am currently in the process of applying to OT schools for the second time around. I was rejected to all the schools I applied to and wonder if I even had a chance of getting in this time around.

Current Stats:
Overall GPA 3.1
Pre-req GPA 3.0
GRE verbal-146 quant 144 writing 3.0

I am planning on re-taking some pre-req classes at a local community college to up my pre-reg GPA.

Do you think its even worth spending the money to re-take about 4 classes not including the time and money that goes into applying for another time around?

I applied to UofPitts, Nova Southeastern, Temple, Midwestern DG & Glendale, Milligan all in which I was flat out denied. :scared:

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on schools that arnt as popular and/or easier to get into that maybe would accept me with lower stats?

Believe it or not statistics guch as gpa and gre are not all that some programs look at. What else do you have to offer? This can mean experience, overcoming hardship, certifications such as a cna, stellar letters of rec. or whatever. Also, apply to Bay Path or private small programs that cost more and are not part of OTCAS

I agree with OTtoBe. Too many people on this board only post their "stats" but don't talk about their experiences. It depends on the school, but a lot of schools will take a close look at your life and work experiences.

Can I ask what your original stats were at the time you had applied? Also you say you applied to nova..I believe they look at last sixty, how are your last sixty units?
