I posted about a year ago asking about my chances, but I figured I would give a more detailed update as I am actually planning to apply this summer.

cGPA: 3.73
sGPA: approximately 3:68
MCAT: 506… Super balanced though! (126, 126,127,127)

College Activities: Varsity Track and Field Athlete/Captain; Bio Lab TA; Volunteer in ED (at least 250 hrs); Worked as a Foster Care Aide; Shadowing general surgeon; Sports Performance/Injury Prevention Internship (500 hours); 4-H junior leader; Volunteer at local harvest festival

Current Activities: Work full time as an ED scribe, recently promoted to trainer; Nationally certified EMT-Basic; Will begin shadowing a hospitalist or surgeon after the MCAT

Current Oregon resident

My top schools are: Creighton and VCU. Then I plan on applying anywhere in the Midwest as well as OHSU. Any opinion on how competitive I will be?

I appreciate the support Goro! VCU is my number one school right now, so hopefully I will be competitive there. Do you have any advice for any other schools I should apply to?
