3.9 GPA, havent taken the mcat yet, but pretend i got a 30R
almost no extracurriculars except some lame volunteering (answering phones, making photocopies) at the local hospital. and a little bit of research.

also, i havent had chemistry labs yet, i took the non-lab portions of chemistry but since i hate lab i havent taken the labs yet. will this hurt my chances?

Your numbers are good, but don't make the mistake of thinking that that will get you in. Spend the next year devoting yourself to building your ECs and patient contact experience. It will make the difference from you only getting interviews from lower tier schools to getting a few interviews at mid and upper tier schools. Plus, honestly I'm always suspicious of people who say they want to be doctors and yet never got around to at least volunteering with patients.

I agree. What's the basis for your desire to become a Physician?

It's true, there have been applicants with 3.7+ Gpas with 32+ MCAT scores who get no love from any schools due to lack of clinical experience and EC's. :/

first of all, take the mcat =) no use pretending you got anything.

you thinking of applyign this year? if so, its pretty late, and you should get some clinical before goign to interviews.

if its for next year, get some clinical quick!
