I have 3.7 GPA from a very good school (Engineering major) and lots of volunteering and shadowing experience. I am being todlmy letters are great (from our pre-professional office). I have been out of school working full time for 2.5 years now (Very good reason why i needed to before going back to postgraduate school) My hope is to get in to NYU or Columbia. What DAT score do you think I need to get in?

20s all around should do it for NYU. 21-22 for Columbia.

It is but...why does he need a 21-22 for Columbia (which has a 20 AA average) if his gpa is 0.2 above their average...
same thing with NYU

1. columbia has a 21 AA average
2. it is always better to be on the safe side then to let yor chances hang in the balance. this year's cycle is going to be more competitive than usual considering all the people who are out of jobs due to this economy want to go back to school.
