EC: Lots of music stuff (competition at the national and international level throughout my highschool and university years right now....i am going into third year). Performances 5 or 6 times a year at ambassies and universities.
volunteer at 2 hospitals for palliative care and 1 hospital for surgical care
shadowed with my own family doctor and a clinical hematologist
research for 2+ years with first author publication
presentations at two international conferences and a bunch at those unviersity held ones for summer studnets/undergrads
president of two clubs, executive commitee member of a charity project.
highschool international biology competition held by University of Toronto/ 99.5th percentile.

Mark: 4.0/4.0GPA currently in unviersity, 99.5% average graduated top of my highschool as well as the city
MCAT: don't know yet....I have been averaging at 40-41 on Kaplan ones (15/11/15 or 15/10/15 typically) so I am gonna go with a conservative estimate of 38

Schools of interests: Harvard Med School and Johns Hopkins as well as University of Toronto Med School

Seriously, you're posting a what are my chances thread?

What have you been scoring on the AAMC practice tests? Beware the Kaplan curve it definitely gives you a false sense of security

Yeah I typically get 14-15/10-11/14-15 on AAMC ones. I find that while AAMC ones are much easier, they tend to be more difficult to get 15s on because one mistake I am down to a 14. As for verbal I have never score higher than a 11. So typically for AAMC it's around 38-40 depending on how lucky on am.

Well with a 4.0 and a 38+ MCAT plus your EC's you would have to be the most awkward person in the world in interviews not to get some really good acceptances.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all for the confidence. 🙂
