Hi, I am new to this fourm.
I am a Canadian Citizen applying to US medical schools as well as some in Ontario. As some of you may or may not know, Ontario schools will be hard for me to get into, because they are very focused on GPA.
My GPA is a 3.6 and my MCAT is a 38Q, I also have hospital volunteer experience and research experience (summer work- and research project) but no publishing came from it as the lab is brand new.
I have applied to these schools, Pritzer, Freinberg, SUNY, Emory, Tufts, Cornell, Dartmouth and Rosalind Franklin.
I really do not want to have to reapply, do you guys think I have a good chance of being accepted to one of these? I know that I am above the averages of some of them, but the schools go through SOOOOO many applications, I find it hard to believe there are that many 3.0's and under 30 mcats applying...
Thanks
Also what can I expect for the interviews? Are they very laidback in the States? In Ontario, the interviews are very short followed by a tour and your out of there. In the states they last the whole day!
