You will get into one of those schools. Your gpa is better than avg with a 1200 which is a great score. Get packing and ready to start

Sent from my iPhone using SDN Mobile app I will accept any pt school at this point. I cannot sleep

For most programs, if you make their minimum requirements, you will get an interview. For schools that do not do interviews, your application will be reviewed. You have good stats so I'd worry more about personal statement and interviewing skills.

I have nearly identical stats and I received 7 rejections when applying to 9 schools. Some of these schools I was rejected from I was above their averages. A couple of my references (I didn't ask them to, they volunteered it) gave me a copy of their LOR and they spoke of me very highly so I'm not really sure what the issue was.
I think most people apply to 9-10 schools, so I recommend doing the same. That little bit of extra money you spend is better than waiting another year to reapply.
I had a friend with ~3.6 and he applied to 6 schools and got all rejections his first year (he got in this year though). I think the GPA Acceptance thread here is a little misleading, as it only shows the fortunate side of things. If there was a rejection thread that everyone posted in, you would see the other side where all kinds of stats still get rejections. It's not a guarantee.

Hey Neophyte, you make a good point. Other than Southwest Baptist what other programs did you apply to?

Well I think you should focus on writing a strong personal statement, because a lot of times when people don't get in but state they have good stats, prob didn't have a strong enough personal statement. Try and set yourself apart through your personal statement. Also, Temple uses a mathematically based formula to calculate whether you are accepted or not. Each piece of the application accounts for a certain percentage.

I agree. A good personal statement plays a heavy hand in the admittance process.
