Hi all. I am applying to dental school this upcoming cycle and wanted to know what yall think about my stats.

DAT: AA:19. TS:20. RC:18. QR:17. Bio:17. GC:24. OC:20. PAT:16.

oGPA:3.75. sGPA. roughly a 3.7 with As in all organic chemistrys and biochemistry. And I go to a pretty good school.

ECs (being very general): pre dental club, tutor, honors society, TA, Peer leader in chemistry.. And a couple more things. I've alsoxhad a job every semester in college working about 20-25 hours a week.

I have tons of community service hours and shadowing hours. I'm also a first generation college student with a single mother and I support myself

I know my PAT isn't great but I wanted to know what you all thought my chances were on getting in this cycle given my PAT score. Also, maybe some school suggestions? Thanks all.

P.S. I can't take the DAT again because I do not have enough money if I want to apply this cycle also. I am thinking of applying to roughly 10 schools.

Overall I think you are a great applicant but I really hope that your PAT score isn't the reason schools would deny you.

I think you have a good shot.

Highly dependent on what schools you apply. Decent chance at low/mid tier schools. Do some research on avg stat for accepted students and oos acceptance rate before selecting.

Dude you will get multiple interviews if you apply broadly. 3.75 and 20? PAT is only a threshold score (min. 16 at many places) and I think other sections of your application will make up for it

Apply to 15 schools. Include midwestern, ASDOH, LECOM, Pitt, NYU, Louisville, and your state school of course. Maybe Roseman. Tufts.
