What are OATS scores?

If I graduate with a BS in Microbiology in Spring of 2012 then when should I "apply" to medical school? What Year?

How soon should I apply?

How tough is it to get a 28 on the MCAT?

On academic probation... GPA fell below 2.0 due to last semester... I had a high risk pregnancy and didn't do well on the final 3 tests...and made several C's and 1 F. I've NEVER made a failing grade in my life until this semester. I was completely heartbroken, however am determined to build up to a 3.7GPA. Any suggestions on how much this past semester will weigh in once I apply?😕😕😕

you need to hit up your school and ask them for a retroactive withdrawal

Thanks. I have been thinking of D.O. schools. Is there a difference in the schools other than you wouldn't recieve and M.D.?

If I am not mistaken, the OAT is the "Optometry Admission Test". But, I could be totally wrong if it really is supposed to be OATS.

OATS I believe is the Optometry Admissions Test...I think.

What's a retroactive withdrawl? Never heard of that

if you have a good medical reason (which you did), I believe some schools allow for you to withdraw your classes/grades from that semester. I'm not sure but someone can probably comment on it
