What are some fillers/binders to avoid when selecting a multivitamin?

I currently use this:

I'm not knowledgeable enough on fillers/binders to see what works best. At 6 pills for a serving size, this vitamin is hard to manage financially. I usually just take 2 tabs in the morning and 2 tabs at night. I just swallow them. They're not chewable.

I sort of want to try the gummy vitamins. Any advice on that?

How much bioavailability is there in this multi? I'm skeptical..

I did a few months studying multivitamins in nutrition class, and from what I learned, they are largely ineffective, and typically result in nothing more than expensive pee. It is better to try and get the added nutrients you need by changing your diet to be high in the vitamins you feel you need for whatever it is you're training for. Not necessarily the answer you were looking for but yea. Also 6/day? That sounds a bit sketch!

I could not agree with you more. vitamins are ineffective at best. I dont usually recommend them to patients.

Multivitamins with 2000% daily minimum requirement is like pissing away money. You don't need it. One or two normal multivitamin(s) will suffice if you don't have a balance diet.

Just increase your caloric intake with correct carb/protein ratio + efficient training program when you bulk up and cut carbs when you try to show that six pack.

Just as I feared. What if my diet is subpar? I mostly eat fish, pasta, chicken, steak, some fruits and veggies - but mostly bodybuilding food. 😳

Should I at least take the one-a-day mens chewable gummies? Gummies have a faster absorption rate than chewable meaning they'll get into my system earlier in the day.

Take a Multi & Lift Heavy

Megadoses of vitamins are useful or necessary for some conditions, but there really is no substitute for eating a proper diet. That said, I do take a mega-B supplement because I do a lot of needlecrafting and B6 in particular is great for preventing carpal tunnel syndrome. I can tell when I don't take it. I also take calcium and iron, and unlike most people, I need extra sodium so I salt my food and take salt tablets when I need to.

Regarding the OP: If you have problems with gluten, lactose, starch, aspartame, etc., yes, avoid those, but otherwise, the excipient ingredients don't make much difference.
