What are the acceptance rates?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Does it really matter? Just work your buff off to ensure that YOUR rate is as close to 100% as possible!

95%

There were 20 applicants this year and 19 got in.

What are the acceptance rates for history and anthropology majors who apply to medical schools?

Definitely lower than that of music majors - better hurry up and pick up an instrument! Correlation IS causation, duh!

I just find it hard to believe that there were only 20 history or anthropology majors that applied to med school

oh give me a break it was 2 in the morning. lol.

Plus bannie spouts off all kinds of facts all the time so it's hard to know when he's trying to be funny or pretentious.

Have to know the facts 😛

but i agree, most of the time my facts are accurate, precise and excellent!

however, when it is so blatantly obvious....
(it acts as an excellent fooling mechanism)
dont worryz
I excuseth you for itz wazz 2 in the monringz.😀

come on guys lets get serious here. 🙄
now does anyone have a link to some statistics?

People aren't being serious about it because it's a dumb question (no offense). As long as you make good grades in your major classes and in pre-reqs/upper level sciences, it doesn't matter what major you are. Apparently the statistics show that non-science majors have higher acceptance rates that science majors. I don't have data to support that, just hearsay I guess, and I am entirely too lazy to find some.
