what are the chances

Hi all...I wanna do gas but my step 1 score is below 200 have average grades few honors here and there...good solid LOR's 3 from anethesia attendings. what are my chances of gettin it anywhere in the north east like ny nj penn. mass. those areas? please advise...obviously im not one of those people still stellar grades lookin for praise i really need to know what my chances are for any gas program.

Your chances are quite good, in fact very good. The northeast has a ton of programs compared to other areas of the country. The key is finding a solid program in a place that you like, or at least do not find disagreeable to live in for 3-4 years. Just apply broadly and interview where you get them. You'll be fine.
