So, for the past few weeks, I've been trying to find different things to keep myself from thinking about Dec. 1st every minute of every day. Other than working, I've been to a Dave Matthews concert, a bachelor party weekend, enjoyed thanksgiving, and gone to driving ranges to hit lots and lots of golf balls.

Now Dec. 1st is almost here!!!! Over the next 2 days, is anyone doing anything out of the ordinary to keep your mind occupied or to celebrate the hopeful end to this looooong process? I don't have to work the next two days, so I might steal some ideas.

I'm frantically checking emails/refreshing AADSAS, keeping an eye on my countdown clock and studying for a test I have tomorrow and for my finals next week... It sure is hard to concentrate!

I traveled for Thanksgiving and those five days flew by. It helped a lot. And seriously guys stop checking AADSAS every 2 minutes, it's NOT December 1st yet.

same. this is a hell-week for me. so i've been studying, which you would think would keep my mind off the process, but the process is just distracting me from studying. gahhh

agreed. I've got 3 projects, a paper, and two final exams this week, yet our official "FINALS" week doesn't start for 2 weeks. I almost wish they were later so if I get good news I know how much to study, I've got a solid B in one and an A- in the other. I'm hoping with the projects due this week I can get them both to be an A, we'll see though.

I'm trying to keep my head in my school work but I find myself wandering over to this site quite often... like right now.

get crunk!

And on wednesday, drink even more- we are either going to be really sad or happy, so either way, drinking helps! lol

I am working on a Physio abstract due tomorrow and got to read a book called "The Merchant of Venice" by Shakespeare for an ethics paper:scared:

Thank god I got class til 10pm tomorrow night😎

Studying....not a good distraction from December 1st....HOWEVER, December 1st and sdn are fantastic distractions from studying:laugh:

yeah. I think i'm heading down a similar path. Tomorrow night I think it will be a cheap bottle of wine (or three) with the wife, decorate a Charlie Brown x-mas tree, and hope for an email at 12:01 am:xf::xf: The next day may be celebratory mimosas, or a strong bloody mary.

hahaha, I like that idea

I've just been busy with grad school... final 3 classes! woohoo!!!! Aside from school stuff, I've been running a lot more, lifting, and oh yea... MADDEN is always a wonderful drug that get your mind off ANYTHING! 😀

4 tests this week and all I can think about is preparing a celebratory dance, or finding a nearby bridge to jump off of, on Dec 1.

I've been working out a lot... it helps take away the stress for an hour or so every day and actually helps even afterwards since I feel good for the rest of the day and don't really worry about it... best thing to remember is that at this point, you've done everything that you can and now it's out of your hands

I've been working a lot, and it's so hard to stay focused on my job! 😴

Also, I've probably been spending too much time on SDN, refreshing email, and refreshing AADSAS.

Puzzles!! I have completed 2 1,500 piece puzzles during Thanksgiving week. Gives ya something to do for cheap. Even funner with some wine😛

You guys make me laugh.. And make me feel like I am not the only one going insane!

I am going to the UK basketball game tomorrow night so I don't have an anxiety attack on the computer all night.... And getting engagement pictures taken tomorrow during the day. I hope these were enough fillers for the day
