What are You M3s doing?

Just wondering, how are some of the M3s on this board setting up their M4 year?

Well this obviously depends on what your goals are for me.... (and i am still waiting to talk to my advisor) but I plan on doing an
1)away EM rotation
2) Sub I in Medicine,
3) easy little 2 week class so I can start at the appropriate date at....
3) Home EM rotation
4) Some joke elective to study for Step II

Thats the idea as of right now but I need to talk to an advisor about it!

This is how my fourth year is shaping hope, hopefully.

finish 3rd year end of june.

july off. (step II end of month)

august-home EM rotation.

sept-away EM rotation.

octo-required lecture course

nov-sub-I (medicine or family med)

dec-off

jan-critical care (micu or ccu)

feb-radiology
 
For all of you M3s out there - I highly recommend the away rotations at Resurrection in Chicago (nice pace, serious pathology), Indiana (if you get Wishard it is a tremendous "county" experience and the didactic teaching is great), and Mayo (in addition to decent pathology, great teaching, and a cool program, we mandate specific procedures from student rotators so everyone in the department works to get you some decent experiences).

Just my thoughts, your milage may vary!

thanks for the advice. I'd love to rotate at indiana or mayo. plan on applying to both for sure.
