Hello everyone,

I know this has been brought up a few times before, but I wanted to get some feedback on my responses to the typical "what are you passionate about?" I want to check and make sure they don't come off as silly or unreflective. I've talked about things like volunteer/diversity/hardships in other questions or my EC section so I'm trying to avoid repeating myself in my application.

Option #1) Passionate about my dogs.
* Even when I felt beaten down I knew I had to pull myself together to take care of them.
* I learned patience and frustration, spending nights trying to teach my dog to use the bathroom or not howl.
*Has helped me be more in-tuned to health; noticing nuances in their behaviors that may suggest something is wrong.

Option #2) Passionate about art (painting and drawing).
*learned to take harsh criticisms to improve myself.
*Spent years practicing and trying different mediums to find a speciality that speaks to me.
*Has helped me connect with people from different backgrounds.

For each of these points I have experiences to help tell my story. I'm trying to mention something that isn't too generic in applications and to show a little bit more of my personality to the adcoms. Any feedback would be a major help, thank you!
