What are your 3 weaknesses?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
To prepare US? Thanks, man. You're so thoughtful.

Why create two threads in the same hour that deal with the same topic?

your weaknesses

sucky leadership skills - can't get other people to do things for you (evidence this & other thread)

weak intellect - can't think for oneself (evidence ")

immature tool - no explanation needed, believe me. interviewer'll understand

Title says it all. To prepare you guys for future interviews. This is often a very often question.

My three achilles' heels:

1.) Alcohol
2.) Hot girls who talk sassy
3.) Replying to stupid posts on SDN

Oh and by the way, I forgot to mention, you sound like a huge loser. My forgetfulness is a result of weakness #1 I already listed.

You don't seem cut out for med school. You're better off attempting to get some income by running out in front of cars and then suing the drivers.

ouch

Since this thread is so necessary...

#1: I can't get my bench max above 250
#2: My unnatural affinity for Steven Seagal movies
#3: My southern accent is too sultry

Somewhere below these three is my GPA, but I felt that the aforementioned were of far higher priority.

wow #2 is pretty bad

Thanks OP for looking out for us. While we're covering the obvious and outdated, here's the link for 2007 amcas app: http://www.aamc.org/students/amcas/start.htm

just looking out for YOU guys 😎

Wow cool, so you only have to fill out one application and they kind of send it to everyone, you just have to pay? But isn't $160 a lot of money. I applied to college for like under $70 for 2 schools. Also, which schools are affiliated with this AMCA thing, do caribean schools also get with this?

Also, you don't have to refresh Gmail, it refreshes automatically somehow.

Seriously, you make a repeat post asking for the same information, because the first post didn't get you the answers you wanted...

Not ONLY that but you have the audacity to suggest that for some reason, now you don't want the SAME information for the SAME SELFISH reason, but for an NEW (and now altruistic one).

Now, if I'm not mistaken, that's trying to con us. Which, if you are male, makes you a con-man.

Just like someone who jumps in front of a car and then sues.

So see, there was no problem with that post. The poster was merely suggesting a career choice appropriate based on your previous behaviours.

In fact, you should be thanking him.

PS. You will make a great doctor. I see you being somewhere on par with Bill Frist.

Often, I often often or often often often. This often often often is often often.

You often?

I'm assuming Kevster's "are u serious" was referring to your comment on the price of AMCAS, in which case i'll have to jump in. The initial application costs 160 dollars which includes 1 school. Each school you add then costs $30. Many of our primaries have added up to $1000+. Then secondaries come, and those are approx 50-100 a pop. Then flights and hotels for interviews and I'm lookin at a total of $4k+ right now for the entire process. And I believe all U.S. Allopathic schools are affiliated with the AMCAS, except Texas schools which used the TMDSAS or something like that. And osteopathic schools use something else as well. And I don't think Carribean schools use it either.

Oh wow, secondary meaning you didn't get accepted to any the first time around so these are new schools you're applying to? I guess I need to start saving up. Thanks.

lol nono all schools have secondaries, which is an application more specific for that school. for some schools, all applicants receive one after submitting the primary. for other schools, some applicants might not make the cut to get a secondary and get rejected pre-secondary. either way, getting a secondary is a good thing. has nothing to do with 1st or 2nd tries.

basically its just a way for schools to make money.

Wow! You are a huge f*cking tool! That you are attempting to sensor a humorous poster because of petty oversensitivity is pathetic.

Hi MedvacMoney. May I ask if you are applying this year? Do you have future interviews? If you have already been accepted, don't you think that it's kind of weird that your alturistic post for us is asking us to list our weaknesses? Do you need more than acceptances to feel good for yourself? Because I would be proud enough with some great acceptances under my belt and I might help everyone else by answering their questions instead.

And please don't report me, I'm just curious.

Congrats on your success.

Now to anyone who might be reading this post to get real asnwers- I drew a blank with this question in one of my interviews and, ironically, blurted out that I was too impulsive. I'm not so sure how well it went over haha.

what is your definition of weakness?

Those should be the most treasured strengths that you must sell you adcom. Did you write those in your primary application?

I would in the Award section
