What are your go-to supplemental books for Orgo, biochem, cell bio, physics, etc?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I honestly resort to YouTube or simple Google searches. I’m a very auditory/visual learner though.

Are you talking about for studying for the actual premed prereqs? Or are you talking about MCAT prep in those subjects?

I obviously can't speak for what Flying Penguin meant, but I personally use Khan Academy for both studying for prereq classes and MCAT prep.

I find it helpful to listen to a video on the subject before reading the chapter.

P.S. Thanks for making this thread! I bookmarked it and am looking forward to the suggestions!

I just took notes in class and asked maybe four or five questions per day in each class. That seems to be sufficient for me. And if ever something is confusing, there’s a YouTube video for everything. In particular khan academy and crash course can help with MCAT stuff.

I came here to say youtube videos lol. For the MCAT, I liked Armando's (?) drawing videos for bio and I would recommend Pre-Med HQ for physics. His videos are GOLD for C/P.

Whose videos are gold for C/P? Someone on Pre-Med HQ? Who? I don’t see a listing of videos, but maybe not looking in right place.
Pre-med HQ for C/P. I struggled with physics a lot and their explanations were concise and straight to the point. They also have good videos for the bio section. Their videos should be on YouTube (as well as Armando’s).
