I will be making a request for "early repayment for immediate in-school deferment."
The benefits I've heard of, compared to other lenders, include no lender or origination fees, and a "T.H.E. Bonus" of 0.75% annualy "once I go into repayment."
So, do I get this bonus immediately while in school, or must I physically be repaying my loans (ie once I'm a resident and have the money!) to get it? If the latter is the case, then I think the GL 1.25% rate reduction sounds like a better deal...
Also, I also read something about "Capitalization" which means interest you're paying on interest during your years when not in repayment. However, since I am going into "early repayment for immediate in-school deferment" status, does this mean my interest will be capitalized? Any more info on this?
Any other benefits/reasons why I should go with T.H.E.?
THANKS!
