I bought the Delmar's Pharmacy tech certification review book (second edition). But when I checked the reviews for the book on amazon.com alot of people seemed unhappy with it due to mathmatical errors. So I was wondering is there a better book out there that I should use? I'm trying to pass the test without going to vocational school or on-the-job training :scared: .

none. if you've worked in a pharmacy no need to study.

Everything has typos, but for my purposes I thought that Delmar's book was just fine. It covered all the laws and things like that which was more important to me anyhow, because I had no exposure to it. If you can do the math they taught you in basic chem you can do the math on this test, mostly calculating flow rates. I also used a book I got at pharmacytrainer.com. Dont stress about learning all the drug names, I only knew about a dozen and passed the test with lots of room to spare, just learn the math.

Hard to come by, but excellent book.

Passed the test w/o pharm experience. =)

I second that. A fabulous book. Try to find the most recent edition.
