What book should I get for neurology?

I'm a third year medical student who is interested in neurology and wants to shine during his neuro elective..wondering what's the best book to read before I start my elective.

I asked an attending this question and he recommended Manter and Gatz's Essentials of Clinical Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology, which so far is a GREAT read.

He also recommended Lange's Clinical Neurology which is symptom based and very nice as well.

I'm having fun reading these books but look forward to other resources, like this one:

Lange I think is best, despite the fact that I didn't it was that great! Really no great neuro books out there. The other book I saw people use was Blueprints. But I thought that book sucked even more.

The Baylor neurology residency has a neat little interactive case of the month program. You get a history & exam and then can request a limited number of studies, labs, etc, then make your "diagnosis." There is also a review of the actual correct diagnosis. They used to update this monthly, and I did it religiously when I was a resident; I don't know if they still keep it up. I think the website is http://www.bcm.tmc.edu
