- I am starting my anesthesiology residency this july, does anyone have any advice on what to read?
- are there any "first aid" or "crush" style quick review books??
-what do u recc reading the night before cases?
-what is a good quick read in between cases?
-what is a good Q&A book?
-for the seniors: is there anything you wish you had done early on during your residency?
-any books to avoid?
-books that were very board oriented?
-review courses that were perfect for the boards?

Faust

Morgan/Mikhail

Yao & Artusio AND/OR Reed: Clinical case books. The former is very in depth, the latter you can crank out your average chapter in under an hour and a half. Good to read night before a case you haven't done.

You can do Chattigan and Hall questions when you take a dump in the AM/PM.

Intra OP I read a couple o' pages of the MGH hand book. That thing is solid.

there is no time in between cases. but during cases, i read anesthesia secrets. if you focus on the secrets, you're set....the rest will be common knowledge.
