I graduated in Dec last year, and in my first semester of "postbac" right now at the university near my home. My GPA is 2.6 range, and tryin to bring it up. I have 2 D's on my transcript: Gen Chem II and Orgo II, and I'm retaking Gen Chem II right now, taking Orgo II next semester along with Biochem. Im taking Gen Chem II, Physics II, and A&P II right now, and its time to sign up for next semester. Along with Orgo II and Biochem, what do you suggest taking?? I wanted to take micro but I have time conflict. Same with histology. Any suggestions would be great. People say to take classes that you enjoy, but I dont want to waste my time on anything that wont help me get into school AND bring up GPA. Any ideas? Thanks.

Well I am currently taking A&P, already had genetics, taking biochem next semester, and have a minor in business administration. But thanks for the ideas, any more would be appreciated. I basically wanna know everyone's opinion on taking classes that I "enjoy." I enjoy spanish, astronomy, music, art, etc but I dont know how that would look on the transcript of someone trying to get into dental school. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Are you looking specifically to boost your science/BCP GPA, or just get more credits in general? If you need science credits, some atypical science classes include geology, oceanography, and biostats. If you just need extra classes... ummm... take something you'll enjoy and get an A in.

Yea more specifically I need to boost BCP GPA. Maybe I'll try to take some of those classes like you mentioned. Perhaps an astronomy class, or the like. My overall is 2.5 and science is about 2.2 so I need to find all the classes I can get to boost that.
