Hi everyone!

I'm in the process of registering for my classes for the next semester and I'm still debating on what classes to take.

Here are two options:

Physic 2 + lab
Immunology
Human Genetic
Bio Chem 1
Anatomy 2 Lab

OR

Physic 2 + lab
Cal 3 + lab
Biol Chem 1
Anatomy 2 Lab

The first option seem like a big load of work and I'm not exactly sure how hard are the classes? I've asked around and different people have different opinions about it.

The second option only have 12 hours, but I'm not a big fan of math related classes.

Thanks for your help!

Oh Wow... I don't envy you. The first set of classes you listed sounds like a huge load. I'd probably recommend taking that over the one with Cal3. I don't think any schools require more than one Calculus course - I could be wrong though. Could you fit in an elective and take Immunology or Genetics a different semester? It seems that you're determined to take Biochem, Physics and Anatomy next semester regardless. You know what you're capable of, but I'd worry that you're overextending yourself with that load.

What do you need calc 3 for?

yeah wth thats more for engineering. i think the poster should cut a class like immunology or genetics and take an easier one.

I agree. this is what I was trying to say in my earlier post, but I don't think it came out the right way. Take an easy elective (like Psychology) with either Immuno or Genetics in addition to the other classes. Then get the other class at a different time. Looks like only UCSF requires a full year of Calculus...

u think his is rough right now im taking

Microbiology
Cell Biology
Human Anatomy
Evolut.
Lab
Immuno.

and all of these classes are at the Upper division so its not the basic lower division anatomy or microbio 🙁 plus im working almost full time.😱
