I was curious as to how the people of sdn spent their day before the big test.
I know I'll probably be cramming! I don't think it would be too adverse to cram since it's a regurgitation test.

I ate a very nice meal for good luck. I studied until 11 pm. After that, I had quality time with my girlfriend...

The next morning I had a quality breakfast and bought a blueberry muffin for my break. It was so refreshing to have that muffin during the break. I think it did a solid job of clearing my mind.

I had been on a somewhat strict schedule for about a month before my DAT so i just kept that up. woke up at the same time, had my normal breakfast, lunch at home, went to the library, came back for dinner, went to bed. got up next morning at the same time, same breakfast, went to testing center.
However, instead of studying hardcore, I just looked over my own notes and flashcards at the library..
GL:luck:

Is Harvard as easy as people say it is?
Peers like G. Bush? gpa inflation?

Thanks

I f***en love blueberry muffins. Alright, I'm copying your strategy.

I studied lightly throughout the day - mostly class notes. Then I went to go see Tropic Thunder with my boyfriend and my parents 😀 It sorta kept my mind off of d-day.

I believe u get a break for 15 mins so not enough time for anything more than a pastry. I wish there were more shorter breaks offered.

I have seen many students from other colleges insult my alma mater in this fashion but I think it just displays their own insecurities. You seldom see one of our own boasting about our superior admissions standards as well as producing the best of the world in every category because there is no need. We know, you know, and we know that you know 😉

embarrassingly, g.w. bush went to yale, not harvard ...

HBG- good luck! i let my brain shut down and watched tv, and i think it helped me be calmer the day of.

go watch US open tennis. And post your scores when your done your test tommorow.

You still haven't answered my question.
I think you are the one with insecurities. I didn't say Harvard wasn't a great school. Of course it is, I am just saying that it is a joke school when it comes to gpas. They give out 99% As then add 0.5 to your overall gpa.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
You probably have 4.29

Hence the word "like"
I don't know any famous idiots that go to Harvard...sorry

doc3232, I believe what you're doing is called "player hating" as the kids say these days.
Trust me, I have been a participant myself when I see a Bentley or a porky gentleman with way too hot of a girlfriend.

I will just follow the footsteps of my fellow alumnus Mr. Obama and borrow the words of rapper Shawn Carter and get that dirt off my shoulder.

Perhaps you didn't quite understand my last post. When I mentioned Mr. Obama and Mr. Carter, I was referring to this incident - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZJex9Ge2-Q

Off topic, but I believe Mr. Bentley, although intelligent in his own right, attended Howard University, not my alma mater. I don't know why you bring Mr. Bentley up but I am quite fond of him. He displays a combination of sartorial excellence and personal flair. I applaud him for writing his book Advance Your Swagger and reaching out to the urban youths about improving their styles and learning proper manners. You may dismiss him as a butler for Mr. Combs, but I consider him to be a true proponent of American transcendentalism. Because of him, we will see less men wearing baggy jeans and ending every sentence with a "shawty" or "potna" That difference he will make will far exceed your contribution to the society as a dentist.
