I was surprisingly productive. 😱 I worked on some extra credit homework and watched some pathology videos.

This is sad, but I spent the day processing chickens. It was time for our chickens to become food 🙁 But they were all pastured, so they had good lives. And I saved the very last one to keep as a pet, since he looked like he had been pecked quite a bit.

I'd like to get some backyard chickens for next spring once we get the fence up. Maybe like a dozen or so broilers to just keep 6-8 weeks and a few laying hens (I'm thinking buff Orpingtons as dual purpose birds as I've heard Cornish crosses aren't as hardy for backyard situations).

That is my very last one to finish before the Oct 2nd deadline on apps (and I've written almost 10 essays by now). It's driving me crazy. I already feel like I answered that question in my personal statement. Plus my mind is MUSH!!
