What did you love the most in your first year

Minus tears.

No i'm not, i would always take a pack of tissues to classes with me. I had to be prepared. I wasn't sure what beauty laid ahead.

Pros:

(2 months until end of MS1)

- My class and classmates who are some of my closest friends.
- Orientation week. I remember we just had sessions about diversity and stuff. lol I was like this isn't bad at all!
- Orientation week. I was also under the illusion that we'd continue to go out everyday. This has now tapered off to about 1/ day a week.
- The flexibility. Can't believe I was considering attending a school built on PBL and required attendance.
- Sure test weeks for me are pretty much studying all day with required attendance stuff mixed in but other than that it's 3/4 hrs of studying a day tops. Not bad at all.
- I worked a full time job as a research assistant before med school. Dreaded it mostly because of how boring cubicle-land was. Sure much of the material so far has been dry but I can't remember the last time I was bored.
