Things like Mental Health First Aid training (8hrs, you get a little certificate), Street Medic training (20hrs, you get to join the street medics org nearest you like Chicago Action Medical), that kind of thing? I'm interested regardless, but not sure if I should wait to send my application until I've completed the ones I'm signed up for in a few weeks, or just go ahead and submit now?

if your app is ready, submit now......anything you can earn in 8hrs isn't impressive enough to hold up an app

Those certifications won't mean a thing unless you have experiences where they are put to use

Training and certificate is nothing if you haven't used the skills.

No need to wait. These certifications will not make you a more desirable candidate.
