anyone? I hear so much talk about CRNAs flooding the anesthesia market and I was wondering what they make. I guess their salary could be considered a "floor" for anesthiologist salaries.

the ones at my facility(community hospital) make 110 k to start. I have a friend who is credentialed as a crna and np who makes 180 k by doing half time o.r. and half time pain clinic in san francisco.the range as I understand it is about 90k-200k nationally depending on setting and amount of call.

Low end maybe $80k for a 40-hr week, no call, no nights, etc.

Total compensation for anesthetists (AA or CRNA) varies tremendously. $200k with a lot of OT (800 or more) is not unheard of in group practices, and that's before benefits. It varies with location as well, urban vs. rural, different regions of the country, availability of providers, etc. CRNA's in solo or locum tenens practices probably start in the mid-100's and many break the $200k mark.
