hey guys,
i have recently applied to dental school (for fall 2006). I have a very solid dat score, and a very high gpa at the moment. however, when applying, i was overly-optimistic that i could finish off my bachelors in bio in the year i have left. i have taken a very heavy course load, and now realize it may be a stretch to finish off in a year.
i just need some advice on what to do, and fellow sdner's have always helped out. should i just get school over with and somehow finish in a year? (my current gpa is 4.0, so even if it falls it wont be too bad), or should i try to maintain my gpa and put off dental school? i know it is sort of a personal decision, but i just needed some outside input on the issue. also, if i do decide to postpone dental school, what is the process since i have already applied and had my lor's and transcripts and everything sent in?
thanks so much for the help. 🙂 😎
