What do Major in???????? HELP!

Hey guys, Im a senior in high school adn graduation is right around the corner.

Im for sure going Pre-Med but i dont know what area of science to major in.. I really want to major in Micriobiology, but people have told me that micriobiology wont be beneficial to be and the MCAT...

I really dont like botany! but i love human biology.

Any thoughts..?

Calm down. You don't need to plan your major around being pre-med, and undergraduate major is essentially a non-factor for medical school admissions. Just make sure you take the classes most medical schools have as pre-requisites (GenChem, OChem, Bio, etc.) and major in whatever you want and enjoy. The last thing you want to do is major in something you don't like just because you want to impress medical schools and then end up not even wanting to be a doctor. Take a bunch of different classes and explore.But most importantly, and I cannot stress this enough, relax and enjoy college. If you are this worked up now, you'll fall apart before you even make it to the MCAT.

Major in what you want. If you love microbiology, I don't see why you shouldn't major in it.
