so im a freshman and have had an humanities professors for two quarters, i did very well my first quarter with her, and did even better the second quarter

so i want to get a letter of reccomendation from her, What do medical schools think about this? Pros and cons please =) thanks

......... You want her to make a letter of recommendation for you, and then send it out in 2-3years when your applying to medical school?
Keep in contact with her and if you are still on a name to name basis in 2-3 years then ask her then.. You need 1 humanities professor letter of recommendation anyway. So in my opinion unless your transfer or something, then you have no need to be even thinking about letters of recommendation for a long while.

Sounds good - schools like non-science rec letters, and many require one.

Keep in good contact for the next 2 years and you can still get a good letter. One of my letters was from a small spring semester freshman class where my teacher knew me well and recognized me on campus afterward.
