Maybe its just Ohio, but the nurses, PAs and NPs here are *hot* *hot* *hot* 🙂

Anyway, the question is what do nurses think of eligible MS3, MS4, resident type docs? Whats the dating scene like?

Given that MDs spend so much time at work, seems like the chances of meeting a compatible mate would be higher.

What do you guys think?

Want to trade? All the nurses here are stuck up and look like they just crawled out of either a cave or McDonalds.

If ER tells us anything, we shouldn't have any problems getting a hook-up in the hospital... hehehe 🙂

I think a decent number of folks come in with significant others, and some of those people actually leave school with the same s.o. Some people meet while in school. I figure it might be a little easier for a single male to find a compatible mate, esp. in schools that have a larger female:male ratio. And meeting someone in the hospital (depending on where they are in their careers) could mean that a person really gets to know you well by working with you (they see the good side of you, and the ugly side of you)...

The hospital could be another social scene I suppose, of course not like a bar or club, where people could meet. I'm sure there's some hope out there somewhere.

Q: "Do you LIKE doctors?"

A: "Well, seeing as I like two of the four docs on my ward, I'd say I like 50% of them."

** This was me asking my dad (51, greying beard) about how RNs perceive physicians.

Give me a break!! Only fools mess around with people they work with (or for!). I have two sisters, two aunts, a father and grandmother all of whom are RNs (one of the aunts is now a PA). NONE of them - or any of their friends I have met - have ever dated or married a physician. From my experience, most nurses wouldn't touch a doc with a proverbial ten foot pole.

For that part, neither would I.

That's pretty funny!!! Does that go for both men and women?

heres a question...

what do female docs think about guy nurses??

any potential dating here??/

Dan, haven't you seen the "Murse" episode of Scrubs???

Generally speaking, don't date anyone you work with, unless you two work in different parts of the hospital and don't see each other/work DIRECTLY with each other. (apply this situation to school also).

People DO gossip, and it's just a matter of time before your rep is phucked. Don't underestimate the importance of rep.

The one exception is if there's some MAJOR interest there, and you want more than a sexual relationship. It's called love, my friends, and you'd be foolish to pass it up.

All nurses want a doctor of their own.

Man at the hospital where I work there are about three hot nurses, and about a gazillion butt ass ugly ones. Everyone of them are coat-chasers. they follow the residents and m3s and 4s around like little ducklings.

One of my ex'es (who is a doc) married a guy nurse...... this was after telling me (when she was a student) she wouldn't settle for any less than another MD or a phd in something else🙄
