hi
I have 27 Mcat (low verbal) and GPA of 3.8 . what DO school should I apply to based on my stats.
thanks

What's the breakdown of the MCAT? If there's nothing below a 8, i'd say PCOM, CCOM, DMU, NSU (Nova), NYCOM, Rowan SOM, KCOM, KCUMB, AZCOM and others if you'd like. Seems like you have a very good shot!

PS12,V5,BS10 🙁 my verbal score is low. thanks for ur advice.

I know this isn't what you are asking, but you need to practice verbal and retake the MCAT.

The 5 is going to get you screened essentially everywhere from what I understand.

I agree with DrEnderW. If you retake the MCAT and improve your verbal to an 8, then the world will be your oyster. You would get into any DO school and even competitive for low and mid-tier MD, especially with your GPA.

You might be able to eke in despite your 5. But it's an uphill battle and you could have it all with a better verbal score.
